Today we landed in Madrid, though we didn’t go really anywhere because I was afraid of getting lost in Spain (not that that isn’t a great idea ) I stayed around and viewed the massive airport with its architectural style that would compare to almost a mid-century look kind of that Frank Loyd wright did in some of his work. The pathway that I was at was Labeled HJK and I swear to you it can take about ten minutes to walk from one side to the other. From the plane in Texas once we landed
I was to take two escalators up one elevator down an then a tram I finally reached the main area I stopped at the McDonalds in the airport and I was in heaven Muffin’s for breakfast and then one the don’t deep fry the sandwiches
It was a culture shock with the bathrooms i had only seen on social media before. The one where it shows the bathroom stall completley closed. yes no cracks like here in the states. Then there is a red/green light that lets you know when its occupied. Culture shock!!
Kenutzfleck
On my first night in Berlin, I went to see some old faces and even meet some new ones that I have only talked to on social media. I have even got some leads . I went to the beloved Kenutzlfeck the locals love coming here for a good time some good music and to watch some acrobatics. All while sampling the plethora of menu food and exotic cocktails. While I was there were two bridal parties celebrating there last night of being single, Which to know end there was a male dancer who made it worthwhile and was a hoot to watch.
